Activities & Athletics

Charlotte High offers a variety of opportunities for students to be involved in extracurricular activities through clubs and athletic teams. We consider participation in extracurricular activities to be an important educational and social opportunity for all of our students.
Spirit Shop
The Spirit Shop is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during all lunches. It is open to the public on those days from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., at all home football games, other various sporting events, and by appointment (Contact Mrs. Smith at 941-575-5450 ext. 1708). Come by to browse our t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, blankets, and other assorted spirit items.

School Advisory (SAC)
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is comprised of parents, students and CHS staff members who are dedicated to the continued development and maintenance of quality educational programs at Charlotte High School. Being involved with SAC provides parents the opportunity to be an intregal part of the Tarpon Family.
SAC Meeting Dates

The FOCUS portal allows parents and students 24/7 secure access to information such as attendance, assignments, grades, and discipline. The username and password may be requested from the grade level office staff.

Parking on Campus
All students who wish to park on campus must have a permit. Please see Mr. Sansone in Room G115 for an application. Parking on campus is a privilege.
